Naviate Fabrication v3.13.1 is now available. Download the latest Naviate products at My Symetri -> Applications:

  • [N] Fabrication v3.13.1 - compatible with Revit 2021 through Revit 2027

Data Flow - Improvements

  • In the UI, when a Data Flow Condition is selected and 'Del' is pressed on your keyboard, the selected Condition is deleted but now with an 'Are you sure?' popup. This allows you to avoid deleting a Condition unintentionally.
    • Note that this popup can be disabled for the rest of the Revit session by checking the box at the bottom of the window.
  • Updated the Data Flow main UI to open with 'Show All Conditions' activated, meaning on open, all Condition Groups will be displayed in the datagrid, sorted by their Group.
  • Sort Condition Groups alphanumerically either in ascending or descending order, while still being able to manually sort by drag-dropping. Note that this sorting method will be saved to the model and applied to all users working in the model once saved.
  • Added ability to Sync Conditions by Group.
    • Note that the Sync Conditions by Group button will appear when a single Condition Group is selected and thus displayed in the datagrid. The Sync Conditions by Group button will disappear when the datagrid is in 'Show All Conditions' view.

Disconnect All - Improvement

  • Command will now maintain the Pin status of elements after the Disconnect is executed.
  • Stability improvements that resolved issues where the command would fail or stop after orphaned elements (e.g., weld flanges, couplings) were auto-deleted during the operation.

BOM - Improvement

When creating a BOM, Naviate will now include Nested Elements if the Naviate Filter Setting does not include the Host Family's Category.

For example, if a Sleeve Family is Category Pipe Accessory, and it contains a Nested Family Naviate_Point.rfa of Category Generic Model, Naviate will include the Naviate_Point.rfa instances in BOM commands, even if the Naviate Filter Setting just collects Category Generic Model.

'Are you sure?' Dialog - UI Improvement

Updated the 'Are you sure?' UI Style to any Naviate Fabrication/MEP command that leverages this dialog.

Settings Manager/Naviate AC Filter Elements - Import/Export Improvement

Resolved an issue of an imported Naviate Filter Setting not actually collecting any elements in the model, when leveraging commands such as BOM Options, Data Flow, Advanced Renumber.

Naviate_Point.rfa - Improvements

  • Deleted the following Shared Parameters from the Naviate_Point.rfa file:
    • BIMrx_Point Location X
    • BIMrx_Point Location Y
    • BIMrx_Point Location Z
    • BIMrx_Point Location
  • When a Hanger placed by [N] Fabrication Hanger/Rack commands is deleted, the associated Naviate_Point.rfa will now also be deleted (via the Points IUpdater).
  • Shared Parameter Naviate_Point Location now grouped under 'Data'

AutoBreak - Improvements

Resolved an issue with the command on Rectangular Duct - where it does not break at the entered length and will subtract the gap.

Spool Manager Options - Improvement

  • When the Loaded Tags button ('...') is clicked (next to Place element tags in 3D view), Naviate will now ask if you would like to save any unsaved changes before opening the Loaded Tags dialog.
    • Please note that there is a Revit limitation that does not allow the Loaded Tags window to 'stack' on top of the Spool Manager Options dialog. Thus, the Spool Manager Options dialog must be closed before the Loaded Tags dialog can be opened.

Quick Reconnect - Improvement

Quick Reconnect now supports connections that are Service mismatches.

Fixes

  • Total Station Export to CSV
    • Resolved an issue with the command exporting zeroes when BIMrx Point Location parameters are used.
  • Spool Manager Options
    • When the Loaded Tags button ('...') is clicked (next to Place element tags in 3D view), throw a confirmation popup before exiting Spool Manager Options.
  • Fab Elbow Commands
    • Resolved an issue of incorrectly sized Elbows being placed when Fabrication Ductwork has a Liner Insulation Specification.
  • Fab Properties Palette
    • Resolved an issue with certain valid Connector selections displaying as invalid due to 'ArgumentException'.
    • Connector selections that previously disconnected two ITM Elements silently, but without notification, will now throw an error indicating the connection was disconnected.
