Naviate MEP + Fabrication: Known Issues

  Product Version Command Description
1 [N] Fabrication 2021-2026 Fabrication Bloom Settings Worksets set in Fabrication Bloom settings are not applied when Blooming from an ITM to an ITM.
2 [N] Fabrication 2021-2026 Hanger Host Elevation Update Command may have unexpected results for Cable Trays.
3 [N] Fabrication 2021-2026 BOM If a Naviate Filter is modified after being set in BOM Options, the BOM Type using that Naviate Filter does not update and it may use the old settings of that Naviate Filter. Fixed in v3.12
4 [N] Fabrication & MEP 2021-2026 Set Slope Values using commas as a decimal may produce unexpected results.
5 [N] Fabrication 2021-2026 Hanger Rod Extension ‘Select Elements’ UI could disappear when selecting a Linked Element. Fixed in v3.12
6 [N] MEP 2021-2026 Copy Monitor Plus Newly copied CM+ RFAs could have an Elevation value referencing Project Base Point, rather than its host’s Level. CM+ Color Toggle may display incorrect colors immediately after Copy.
7 [N] Fabrication 2021-2026 Advanced Renumber When importing a file in ADV Renumber, an unhandled exception could appear if the file is non-JSON format. Fixed in v3.12
8 [N] MEP 2021-2026 Create Circuits Command may unexpectedly cancel if ‘Voltage’ or ‘Number of Poles’ parameters are instance parameters
9 [N] Fabrication 2021-2026 Total Station Points Export Unexpected results may appear when Point coordinates are referenced to Internal Origin. Fixed in 3.12.1
10 [N] MEP 2021-2026 Split and Split with Gap When command is executed near a Fitting instance, the command will error. If Continuous Modeling is enabled, the command will undo any executions in the transaction.

Elbow Commands

Modified Aug 3, 2026

Slope may not be applied to the resulting Ductwork if executed from a Sloped Fabrication Duct.

When executed on Sloped Fabrication Duct, the Fab Elbow Commands may produce non-orthogonal Straights.

12 [N] MEP 2021-2026 Elbow Commands

Elbow commands currently do not support running for multiple non-vertical elbows.

A rotated 'Bloom' Duct could be modeled on Rectangular Duct Fittings if chained from another Naviate Modeling command.

13 [N] MEP 2021-2027 Spool Manager/Advanced Renumber Renumbering a Spool from a 2-digit to 3-digit number, or 3-digit to 4-digit number, may not execute AutoPadding.
14 [N] Fabrication & MEP 2021-2026 Advanced Renumber

If a Naviate Filter is associated to an Advanced Renumber Setting and then renamed, user may need to re-associate that Naviate Filter in Advanced Renumber. Fixed in 3.13

Additionally, renaming a Setting/Sequence could cause duplications in the Setting Columns Assignment window of Sequences. Fixed in 3.13

15 [N] MEP 2021-2026 Reroute Around Command may have unexpected results when executed on multiple straights.
16 [N] Fabrication 2021-2026 Fab Kick 90 Command may experience long load times in large models where a Fitting is connected to a complex Fabrication Service network.  Fixed in 3.13
17 [N] MEP 2021-2026 AutoRouting For sloped MEP straights, if AutoRouting is executed with the 90-degree option, the resulting vertical straight will not be truly vertical. However, the resulting Elbow will be 90.00 degrees. This is a Revit API limitation.
18 [N] Fabrication 2021-2027

Spool Manager

Added July 30, 2026

After Create and Place Views, checked Spools will visually display a different Profile, although the correct Profile Options settings are applied to the Views and Sheet. This will revert to the correct Profile after close and reopen of Spool Manager.

Spool Schedules may not place at the true corner or edge of the Titleblock when Match Template is used.

19 [N] MEP 2027

Vertical CT Routing

Added Aug 12, 2026

When executing the command, cursor will show a no-place symbol, not allowing placement of any Cable Tray. Switching from one View back to the original View is a workaround.

Hangers/Points

Added July 30, 2026

When a Fabrication Hanger has an associated Naviate_Point.rfa placed at the end of the Rod, if the Hanger is deleted, the Naviate_Point.rfa will not be deleted.
