New! Untagged Rebar
New tool that instantly highlights all rebar in the active view that has no tag, to make sure every bar is tagged before drawings are issued.
With a single click, the Untagged Rebar tool checks either the entire active view or only the rebar you have preselected. It highlights every bar that is missing a tag and shows how many untagged rebars were found, so you can immediately see which rebars still need tagging, without having to inspect the drawing bar by bar.
New! Element Numbering
Element Numbering is a new tool that replaces the Pile Numbering tool and extends it to any 3D elements, with a defined numbering order, custom prefix, suffix, and padding, support for hosted and nested elements, and ordering based on project coordinates or a picked reference line.
Select the elements you want to number, open the tool, and define the format with a prefix, start number, number of digits, and suffix, with a live preview of the result. Only the preselected elements are numbered, and the values are written to the Mark parameter or any other instance text parameter you choose.
You decide the numbering order: number first rows or number first columns and starting corner (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right). The ordering can be based on the Project Base Point, the Survey Point, or a selected reference object (line), making it easy to number along rotated or custom layouts. For each numbering order, you can define an alignment tolerance to make sure your numbering sequence is respected.
For hosted and nested elements, such as piles under a pile cap, the tool can number by host and add sub-indexes (for example P001, P001-1, P001-2) or it it can exclude the host element from numbering. You can also choose whether existing numbers are kept or overwritten.
When finished, the tool reports how many elements were numbered and lists any that were skipped:
Draw Symbols Improvements
We have made several improvements to the Draw Symbols tool for the Norwegian and Swedish standards:
- Improved performance – The tool is now much faster, while still showing a progress bar with the option to cancel the operation.
- Automatic layer detection – The new “Draw Symbols” option automatically detects rebar layers (top/bottom or far side/near side) and adds the correct symbols accordingly.
- Bug fixes – All known issues with assigning the correct symbol at bar cranks and bar ends have been fixed.
- Hidden reinforcement (Norwegian standard) – When symbols are added, the reinforcement is now hidden by default.
New Rebar Numbering Improvements- Export Local Images
Based on feedback from Norwegian users, New Rebar Numbering tool now supports exporting local shape images, an option previously available only in the old Rebar Numbering tool.
Images are exported based on the shape code, using the set of shape images included with the installation. You can also modify the image folder and add your own images. If no image exists for a given shape code, the image is generated from the BVBS data and exported automatically.
Tag Rebar in Naviate Modify
The Tag Rebar tool has been added to the Naviate Modify ribbon. Whenever you select rebar, the Tag Rebar tool is now available directly in Naviate Modify, so you can tag bars without switching tabs.
Bug Fixes:
· New Rebar Numbering:
- Fixed an issue in the Norwegian standard where partitions were empty after upgrading to version 2026.3.1 or 2026.4.0.
- Continuous-length rebar positions (both regular and varying sets) are now grouped and numbered correctly.
- Fixed an issue where identical rebars were placed in two different groups due to small rounding differences.
· New Rebar Numbering export to Excel:
- Fixed an issue where leading zeros were not exported.
- Export configuration settings now remain consistent when switching between filters.
- Fixed the shape images for shape codes 25 and 26 (Norwegian standard only).
